What odd behavior, I gather the harpooners finally figure out if they stay still they will save fuel.... or even maybe they are even refueling. Either way at least NM is still on run and no whale has been killed.

I'd say not so fast. As far as I can tell this means one of two things.
    - They are trying to hunt whales and may come back with an unwelcome gift

    -They are refueling.

Shouldn't be too long until everyone finds out.

If the harpoon boats are off refueling, I wonder wonder when the Nisshin Maru will have to refuel as well. It will be interesting to see how Paul handles that one. Only time will tell.

geez I hope the factory ship isnt a red herring. any reports from greenpiece or Japan of another factory capable ship??? this is getting weird. any other sight seeing ships or others to give us a bearing on the other harpoon ships?

As said before elsewhere on the forum there is only one whale factory processing ship left in the world and that's is the Nisshin Maru. Greenpeace have been keeping tags on the new one that is planed but has not been built yet.

The fleet would not have followed SSCS for 6 days straight and then break off to go to the 'new' processing ship. ICR has very little money to send this current fleet let alone a whole other one.

The Yushin Maru #2 and the Yushin Maru have not been seen for 24 hours.

Claims of a second factory ship are not believable seeings the financial situation of the ICR / KS. However it is worrying not having an eye on the two harpoon boats.
