That would be very unfortunate.
Nothing to see on http://abc.net.au as of yet, do you have a link to the source?

I'm kinda curious why they chose the Cummins motors to power the boat over Cat, Detroit, Scania, MAN, etc. The post-ACERT Cummins motors (post-2001) have had quite a fair share of issues with them.
Back on topic, I'm with Danilo on this one... can anyone post a link to any story about the AG sinking?
No, it was on ABC2 TELEVISION news breakfast.
The ABC website is always very slow with information.
They might repeat it later on the same show.
You can watch the show online here http://www.abc.net.au/news/breakfast/
click the "Watch Live" button in the top right corner
Straight from Paul Watsons mouth.
Thanks for the link.
Sometimes I forget there is a big black box also which can give the news

Danilo
Damn. I really didn't want to believe it... I reckon none of us did..
RIP Ady Gil, Long live Ady Gil.
I am sad it lasted so short..
I hope they got off all the eltronics and parts off the Ady Gil before it sank!
That will save them some money when they build a replacement!
With the Steve Irwin, Bob Barker, and a new Ady Gil they will be unstoppable for next season. Though they need to remember that the japanese will not hesitate to sink and possibly murder those aboard the SSCS boats so watch out from ramming attempts by them
One tactic I really wish the SSCS would stop using is prop foulers as they don't work as I guarantee all Japanese vessels have prop cutters which cut through anything that gets on their prop
it sank?
uhm read yesterday somewhere that it is towed (on?)to the BB.
