Angellina, if I didn't have to travel to Italy (my mother and brother are there), I would have come myself!! It's been years since I wanted to come and visit Tasmania. It must be awesome down there. I love forests..I can't leave without been in the proxity of trees (my backyard and front yeard are full of trees and my house is the only one left with a gigantic eucalyptus tree which I am saving for the local birds, regardless of a possible danger to my roof).
Anyway I might plan a visit to Tasmania next year...if I will be financially able and if I come I will definitely come and visit you.
When is the Steve Irwin coming there?

If in fact the ship gets to Tasmania, bail up my friend Iam on the boat and get a stall going! He is full bottle on what has to be done and the pair of you could get some awesome fundraising underway!!

Angie, couldn't think of anyone better to help than Oceansentry! :D
They are THE best!
turns out there is a few old crew kicking around tasmania after all. most of us down here have been busy working on the campaign to stop a disgusting, native forest hungry pulp mill being built in the north of the state.. seems that it could be on its death bed, shows when communities come together in the face of blatant corruption of business and politics that we can fight and we can WIN!
..so now, thanks to Ange, we've got a little somthin' somthin' going on here to support the oceans of the world - nice work mate, looks like you've been showing some stickability to find us..
for the rest of you - feel free to come down and visit, tasmania is one hell of an amazing place, home of the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere, majestic old growth forests which are home to the worlds largest hardwoods eucalyptus regnans .. and a generally pretty nice place, drop us a line and we'll find a blockade for you ;)
Hey Elmo,
Thats FANTASTIC news...poor Angie thought she was all alone down there, she has been trying so hard to find someone, anyone to join forces with...may SSCS Tassie chapter grow and prosper...and give me a holler if you need a hand with anything!
