Next Thursday (20 November) is going to be a fantastic night - we have vegan pies & nibblies and a special delicacy from one of our members with The Red Paintings and Sanat providing the entertainment and not forgetting Captain Paul Watson as our special guest to provide an update into this years campaign and the ongoing plight of our beautiful cetaceans.
With Captain Watson and the crew scheduled to leave on Monday 1st December they are still vastly short of the provisioning required for the voyage (see below for details). If you are able to bring at least one item from the 'PRIORITY DONATIONS (and treats) THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO SOURCE' list it would go a long way to making sure that the dedicated volunteers are fully fueled for, what is undoubtedly going to be, the most dangerous and significant Antarctic campaign to date.
Cost: $20 on the door - all proceeds going directly towards Operation Musashi (Antarctic Campaign 2008-2009)
Address: Kurilpa Hall, 174 Boundary Street, West End, Brisbane
Come along & bring your friends - NEW 'Operation Musashi' T-Shirts now available!
(Don`t forget our other events; Australia Zoo Saturday 15 Nov for Steve Irwin Day and the Benefit Concert 21 Nov at The Arena www.seashepherdgig.com (http://www.seashepherdgig.com).)
Combined food wish list
The food must all be VEGAN - which means no meat, dairy, eggs, honey or
animal derived products (including emulsifiers and additives).
Please contact the cooks - Laura, Zin or Nicola if you have questions
